To Zion or Bust!

After long days, and even longer nights we've finally figured out our moving schedule.
I'm not going to say anything specific about a place because I don't want to jinx it.
So with that said here's how the first days of March should go:
March will probably come in like a Lion on the 1st. I will be inside packing boxes, making final arrangements with Wic, my doctor, and my mom so that the 3rd goes smoothly.
The 2nd of March will be filled with packing up our toiletries, finishing packing, and being too excited to get a full nights sleep.
The 3rd of March is more than likely going to be filled with packing up a U-haul, tired eyes, driving to my mom's and packing more stuff into the U-haul, driving for almost eight hours, and then being able to unpack.
And I'm sure that in these next few days there will also be minor arguments, murmuring from Leman and Lemuel, lots of "We'll miss you so much", plenty of "Honey did one of the hamsters get out?", and there will be much rejoicing once we're back in the state we belong in. Followed by loads of unpacking and being able to finally put the nursery together!

Warning: Contents may turn out to be less organized then they appear, take extreme caution when planning on spending 8 hours in a car with your in-laws. Serious injury may occur.

  1. Let me know how traveling with the hamsters goes... we have to make a trip with them soon and I'm not sure how it's going to work out.

Also, let me know you actual plans!! And let me know if you need help :)

  2. Well we originally put the hamsters in small boxes, they quickly learned how to jump out of said boxes, then we put them in a taller box and they handled this pretty well until they learned how to chew on the corners.... so a tall strong box should hold them for a while, our's lasted for about five days.

We were going to move to Ogden but there was a huge issue with roommates and having enough money. So we made the decision to move to Battle Mountain instead. Corey's dad will rent a room from us, so we only have to pay $350 out of our pockets for rent. And Corey starts training on Monday. He is working for a drilling company which starts at $13 an hour plus he'll be working 10 days on 4 days off which should give him almost 40-50 hours of overtime every paycheck.
Actually I need a hobby.... any ideas?
